St Pauls' Hammersmith owned a valuable maisonette and hall but there were restrictions on how it could be used.
Will negotiated the release of the covenants and then advised the Charity on how to dispose of the freehold in order to comply with Charity Act requirements and to demonstrate best value for the Charity.
SELLING SURPLUS LAND TO FUND NEW FACILITIES
Advising Churches and Charities on feasibility of funding new work by selling surplus land. Advice on the development agreement and Charity Act implications. Will is currently working with St John's Hoxton adn their architects exploring feasibility and disposal options.
